hallooo ! my name's nihil but u can call me nix. or whatever name i've had ever previously lol (zera, jäger, habit, rose, etc). i go by he/him, it/its, jeer/jeers, xe/xem, claw/claws, and 5/5s pronouns.
i used to be the host for a few years, but not anymore, even though i came to existence specifically for that role. i'm in timeout, literally and metaphorically. :CC so now i have been relegated to the role of funny catman who shows up once in a while. you should try it ! i also take on multiple forms, the two most common ones are depicted in the above box but at my core i am a shapeshifter. basically remember that purple and cute = nihil.

my biggest hobby is fucking around. i ♥ doing stuff that does not matter since i'm free baby !!! (i am not free i still contribute to work plz don't come for me) i am fucking abnormal about ebm, industrial/post-industrial music and neue deutsche welle. i love repetitive rhythms and unkind harmonies more than anything else. i fuck HEAVYYY with DAF and einstürzende neubauten. ESPECIALLY daf it's my favorite band in the whole world and alles ist gut is the most influential album in the history of forever. other faves are welle:erdball, kraftwerk, front 242, nitzer ebb, the invincible spirit, and one, suicide, and liaisons dangereuses uhhhhhhh deltarune is a good game blah blah go play it. no one in the system is normal about it but especially not ME. (this is a competition) i lonve jevil hehehoho funy he's better than spamton in every way. UEE HEE HEE !

while "nightshade" is mostly used to refer to certain species of plant such as the deadly nightshade, it is also a generic name for the whole family of solanaceae ! it is a family of flowering plants which contains many well-known plants such as tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, peppers, and tobacco. it's a family known for having plants with high alkaloid contents. alkaloids are funny little molecules with many many uses, but they can also be highly toxic. they are defined as naturally occuring molecules that contain at least one nitrogen atom. many well known recreational drugs are alkaloids ! such as caffeine, nicotine, cocaine and morphine ! did you know heroin comes from the acetylation of morphine ?

the foliage and berries of the deadly nightshade contain tropane alkaloids. they are a class of alkaloids which contain a tropane ring in their chemical structure. this class contains stimulants, such as cocaine and some of its metabolites, as well as deliriants, such as atropine, scopolamine and hyoscyamine. stimulants are drugs which increase alertness, while deliriants cause delirium. deliriants are also generally considered anticholinergic drugs, which means that they can block the effect of acetylcholine by bonding with its receptors. acetylcholine is a very important neurotransmitter that helps transmit information between our nerves and our muscles. it is also used in the brain, so this means anticholinergic drugs can have a variety of awful effects, like fever, delirium, tachychardia, involuntary movements in the gastrointestinal tract, lungs, urinary tract etc... but these drugs can also be very useful to treat symptoms that may need some of these effects or others, such as gastrointestinal issues, dizziness, respiratory disorders, etc...
